For the past 20 years Ingrid Gherman has specialized in
Divorce Law, Matrimonial and Family Law, Complex Divorce and Equitable Distribution
Litigation, Child Custody and Visitation, Relocation, Child Support and Spousal Support
Proceedings, Enforcement and Modification Proceedings, Contempt of Court Proceedings,
Paternity, Domestic Violence, and Interstate as well as International Child Abduction and
Custody Matters. Her work also consists of the negotiation and drafting of Pre-Nuptial,
Post-Nuptial Agreements and Separation Agreements. In addition, she is an experienced
appellate attorney. Ms Gherman's practice includes Mediation and Collaborative Divorce as
alternatives to traditional divorce and matrimonial
litigation.
Possessing a keen understanding of the complexities of the divorce process
and the intricacies of the New York Court System, Ms. Gherman's litigation and trial
practice is in all New York Metropolitan Area Courts, all counties in New York City, as
well as in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties. She also handles appeals before all
of the Appellate Divisions of the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals of the State of
New York.
An experienced matrimonial litigator, Ingrid combines compassion with tough advocacy. Her
