While in Law School Jeff
clerked for the Leawood, Kansas law firm of Cohen, McNeil, Pappas and
Shuttleworth, P.C. After Law School Jeff and Laura moved back
to Mid-Missouri where Jeff took an associate position with The Copeland
Law Firm. Jeff has been in private practice since June 2001.
Besides work, Jeff spends time with his family which also includes daughters Maggie and Elizabeth and son Joe. Jeff enjoys following Cardinal baseball, Rams and Chiefs football and Mizzou football and basketball. He also enjoys hunting and fishing. Jeff is a Past Post Commander and Past Adjutant of American Legion Post 424. He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Jeff is a founding member of the Hartsburg Athletic Club, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to youth sports. Jeff has also served as a Councilman for the Village of Hartsburg and currently serves on the Hartsburg Planning and Zoning Committee. Jeff and his family attend the Peace United Church of Christ in Hartsburg, Missouri.
